Another Honour For Sivasangari

May 07, 2024

another honour for sivasangari

National squash star S. Sivasangari has been honoured as the Athlete of the Month for April by the World Games.

It is in recognition of her impressive run at the recent London Classic, where the 25-year-old defeated several top-ranked players en-route to the title.

This is the second honour in a matter of days for Sivasangari – who was also named one of the PSA World Tour’s players of the month for April.

-

National footballer Faisal Halim is facing up to half a year out of the game…as he recovers from Sunday’s acid attack.

An official from his club side Selangor FC says the winger suffered fourth degree burns, and may require multiple surgeries to get better.

-

Man United missed the chance to move up to sixth in the EPL standings…after they suffered a 4-0 defeat away to Crystal Palace.

The result leaves the Red Devils in eighth position, level on points with seventh-placed Chelsea.

The defeat was also United’s 13th of the season…the first time ever they’ve lost that many in a single Premier League campaign.

-

And West Ham have confirmed that David Moyes will be stepping down as manager of the Premier League club at the end of the season…after winning just one of the last 10 matches.
