Please don’t kill him, sis. We’re scared for him.

Happy wife, happy life they say. But life’s not always happy and happening.

This Japanese man tweeted that he noticed his wife has been listing down the things that made her thankful for him. We all thought it’s really sweet and positive until we learnt the reason behind it.

When the Twitter user known as P_chan_papa decided to ask his wife about the list, she simply replied that the list would prevent her from killing him. We are shooketh.

According to the wife, the list includes buying her tea and looking after their three-year-old daughter as a reference to look at when he gets on her nerves. She’d then remind herself that he’s not that bad after all and that he deserves to live.

However, it’s all good. The man admitted that marriage can be terrifying but his married life has been “incredibly fun”. He also added that making an effort to not kill your husband is important and we’re glad she took that step as well.

Sometimes, especially in long term relationships, the sense of gratitude towards each other may die down. How do you guys keep it going? How do you show your gratitude towards your partner?
