There are many words to define and describe love. This story tells us that love is selfless and unconditional. We’re about to hit you with some full on Bollywood movie vibes, so brace yourselves.

A man recently got his wife of three months married to her boyfriend. Sujit from Kanpur, India married Shanti in February.

The wedding was solemnized as per rituals. However, what Sujit didn’t know was the fact that the bride was forced by her family into marrying him. Soon after the wedding, Shanti left for her parents’ house for some reason and refused to return to her husband.

Not knowing what was going on and wanting to seek closure, poor Sujit went to ask her what’s wrong and after much hesitation, Shanti broke down and confided in him. That was when he realised what mess he was trapped in.

The husband was first disturbed and had a hard time coming to terms with the reality, but eventually, he knew that his wife was not going to live happily with him. Hence, he took some serious action. He also confessed to having negative thoughts but he decided to be the bigger, better man that he is.

After discussion with the elders in the family, he met Shanti’s lover and decided to get them remarried. Sujit even informed the local police about his intentions and they were all in awe of his selflessness.

This is the sweetest story we’ve read today. This was indeed a kind gesture by Sujit and we hope he finds his true love soon.
