Have you seen a cat that actually cares? While they’re mostly known for being cold, Fu Fu, a British shorthair cat proved otherwise.

Fu Fu is known to be the clingy cat so when his owners left for Lunar New Year celebration, he was oh-so-sad.

Ms Meng had to go off to her parents’ house to celebrate the Chinese New Year and knowing that her pet is a shy cat, she thought he’d be happier alone. However, when she called him via a monitor to check on him, Fu Fu could be seen tearing in the footage!

The video has since gotten over eight million likes and he’s now gotten a new moniker, Fu Fu the ‘left behind cat’.

The feline is also known for ‘crying’ when he’s feeling anxious or hungry. Ms Meng explained that she left enough food and water for him before her journey and made sure to check on him through the surveillance camera. The only reason she didn’t bring him along was because she was afraid that Fu Fu wouldn’t be able to get used to her parents’ house. But the poor thing missed her terribly and we can see that clearly.

Ms Meng told him that she’ll be back in a few days and Fu Fu touched the camera with his paw after looking at the door. His owner then cut her trip short because she felt so bad and their reunion was just perfect. Yay, happy Fu Fu, finally!

What goes on your mind every time you leave your pet at home? What do you miss about them?
