While fans on Twitter are connecting the emotional dialogue from the now iconic “I love you, 3000” liner in Avengers: Endgame with the total runtime of all the Marvel Comic Universe movies…

… sources now say that the liner was actually inspired by Robert Downey Jr.’s children!

According to screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, the line, which was originally something else, was changed because of Ironman himself!
