Malaysian singer and actress Adibah Noor announced recently that she has Bell’s Palsy, a nerve disorder that has left the left side of her face paralysed for the past three weeks!

The very bubbly singer said that she noticed something was wrong when she was brushing her teeth. She realised her mouth was a little slanted and that she couldn’t pronounce certain words properly like she used to.

After the diagnosis, she’s been getting physiotherapy and assured her friends and fans that she’s doing alright. She even said that she wants to heal quickly as she wants to get back to work! Well, we’re glad that she’s feeling so much better.

So what is Bell’s Palsy all about?

Bell’s Palsy is a nerve disorder that weakens your facial muscles. It’s caused by damage to the facial nerve and it can happen to anyone at any age.

Here are a few symptoms, as suggested by the Ministry of Health (KKMM).

So if you face any sudden discomfort or have any of the symptoms above, please get yourself checked.

Adibah Noor shared her recent update and thanked everyone who wished her well.
