Kids and babies are often the centre of attention, be it in a family setting or social. With the increasing number of child molesting and sexual assault cases, it is indeed important for parents to teach their children what’s appropriate and what’s not.
This Aussie mom recently went viral after posting a TikTok video explaining her concerns when it comes to her 2-year-old daughter. Brittany stressed the importance of teacher consent to her child and she urged people to normalize it. She shared the kind of reactions she initially got and still get from the people around her.
The mom wanted her child to grasp the concept of consent at a young age so she can learn how to say “no”. Her relatives and other family members have been asked to ask the little girl for permission first before they hugged or kissed her. She also stressed that the older generation should be more accepting of this style of parenting and the current generation to take more responsibility in teaching their kids to be more vocal and letting them know that it’s okay to say “No”.
