Thailand is set to reduce the quarantine period from 14 to just 7 days for foreigners who have been vaccinated. This doesn’t mean we can all go ‘bercuti-cuti’ just yet, but…good news!

The new policy is said to start next month (April 2021) after Health Minister Anutin Charnvirankul made the announcement on Monday, March 8.

He added that the vaccinations must be administered within three months of the travel period. Visitors will have to test negative for COVID-19.

Those who test negative for COVID-19 but have not been vaccinated will be under quarantine for 10 days. However, this does not apply to travellers from Africa, who will still be required to quarantine for 14 days due to their COVID-19 virus strain.

Have you registered to be vaccinated? If you haven’t, you can do so through your MySejahtera app! Here's a step-by-step guide if you didn't know already.
