Sometimes, knowing someone is there by our side is enough to make us persevere.

If you’ve met your soulmate through a dating app, good for you. If you’ve never been that lucky, we feel you. But what you’re about to read isn’t only moving, but also mind-blowing, to know that there are still people out there who are willing to cross oceans for someone they've only recently gotten to know.

Ian and See Ting were confronted by a bitter bump in just three months of knowing each other. See Ting was diagnosed with stage three triple-negative breast cancer back in June 2019 but Ian’s willpower to brave through the treatment and illness together is making us tear up.

While waiting for the results of her biopsy, See Ting even offered Ian a 'way out'- to leave her, as cancer ‘isn’t a flu that just goes away’.

But in all seriousness, Ian said that ‘In this life, you may fight more battles than most people, but from now on let’s make them ours to fight together.’

Give us a moment while we go and cry in the corner…

Now four months into their relationship, their dates are mostly in the hospital and they’re also planning for their wedding in the next two years.

See Ting is due for a mastectomy at the end of this month, followed by reconstruction surgery and radiotherapy thereafter.

We really wish the couple all the very best and may their love story have a happy ending!

Have you heard of similar, touching stories?
