The Miss Thailand participants were posing on a suspension bridge, not at all expecting it would collapse!
Not being able to hold their combined weight, the bridge collapsed and caused the models to fall dramatically into the murky water below them.
Most of them were smiling and seemed to be taking it lightly, but three contestants were left injured.

One suffered cuts and bruises on her forehead while the other two escaped with minor scrapes, thankfully.
The owner of the restaurant where the photoshoot took place felt really bad about what had happened and donated 50,000 Baht (over RM 60,000) to cover their medical bills. He also offered to have their outfits cleaned professionally.
The 43 year-old owner added that the bridge is really strong and he didn’t know why it broke. “It couldn’t handle the weight of the women”, he said.
Well, the show must still go on, so we wish every contestant all the very best! We’re glad they’re all safe now.
