Britney Spears has opened up to fans about her recent move to Mexico, explaining that the decision was driven by her desire to escape the relentless and “cruel” attention from paparazzi.

The pop star shared her frustrations, revealing how tabloid images have affected her emotionally. “It really kind of hurts my feelings that the paparazzi make my face look like I’m wearing a white Jason mask, and it doesn’t even look like me,” Spears said.
She also called out the media for their unkind portrayals over the years. “They’ve always been incredibly cruel to me—the paparazzi, the pictures, and the way they’ve illustrated me in some of it. I know I’m not perfect by any means, but some of it is extremely mean and cruel,” she added.
Spears said these experiences ultimately led her to relocate to Mexico, seeking refuge from the invasive scrutiny that has long been a part of her life.
