2020 hasn’t allowed much travelling for us. While it’s bad for many of us, it’s worse for newlyweds who had plans for their dream-honeymoon this year.

This couple from Karnataka, India decided to do something really out of the box during their honeymoon period. Anudeep Hegde and Minusha Kanchan were in deep discussion as to where they should go for their honeymoon, while probably taking a walk at a nearby beach called Someshwara beach.
While discussing, they realised how much trash was littered around the beach and they both knew what they wanted to do.
The couple went on to grab two pairs of gloves and large garbage bags to start cleaning up the beach, over an entire week!

They managed to clear 600kgs of waste from November 27 to December 5. Soon, people saw what they were doing and about 15 to 16 people joined their little initiative. Anudeep finally posted a video of the beach after getting his hands dirty.
Can two person make a difference? Got married two weeks back & with my wife have decided to clean up this beach before we celebrate honeymoon. 40% have been cleared . Few more days to go. A much satisfying experience so far. #saveourfuture@thebetterindia @timesofindia pic.twitter.com/lo1ZJS3Oin

Can two people make a difference? Yes, they definitely can. This is a beautiful reminder that we should all be responsible for our environment. Change starts from us.
Good job, you two!
