We regard birds as cute, little creatures but we’re thinking twice about that one today.

Someone apparently came across a “beautiful bird” at a golf course in Changi, Singapore, but the photos make us feel a little creeped out.

Don’t you feel like the bird looks like it’s up to some mischief?

A few photos were shared on Facebook because the bird with a ‘durian-face’ was indeed a rare sight, but thanks to netizens, they identified it to be a masked lapwing.

Well, it does look like a mask… and a lapwing…

What’s weirder about the bird was that unlike other birds that fly high up and rest on a tree, it just settled itself on the grass, chillin’.

It was also incredibly chill when Chung, the person who found this bird wanted to snap photos from a short distance away. This bird has mastered the art of ‘chill’ and we love it.

Facebook users are now deciding if the bird’s face is indeed durian like. Some compare it to melted cheese. We’ve decided to leave that up to you.

Have you seen this durian/cheese-faced masked lapwing until now?
