Wedding day is a special day that people usually treasure for the rest of their lives but perhaps for this groom, it’s more of a nightmare than a ‘treasure’.

In this bizarre story that happened recently in Uttar Pradesh, India, a bridegroom and his whole ‘jing bang’ had to return home in disappointment because they couldn’t find his bride, her family AND her house!
Since they had no clue about the bride’s whereabouts, they started scouring the streets searching for the bride’s residence.
Upon returning home, they got hold of the woman who had played mediator in the wedding and held her hostage. The groom and his relatives found out that not only have all of them, including the mediator, been misled, but they were also duped by the bride and her family!
According to the groom’s mother, they had paid Rs 20,000 (over RM1,000) to the bride’s family for booking a band and lights for the wedding ceremony.
Well, we guess the ‘bride’ is enjoying a nice meal with the band money. Please be careful, guys!
