#ILoveYou3000. Yes guys, that line has been overwhelming Marvel fans since the release of Avengers: Endgame.
In Avengers: Endgame, a young Morgan Stark says “I love you 3000” to her father, Tony Stark, in response to him saying… well, we’ll stop here to avoid ruining the scene for those who have yet to watch it.
Fans were quick to translate the meaning of what she said to loving someone more than a ton, because well, a ton is 2000 pounds.
… but it seems like there’s more to it if you look closer, deeper, with your mathematical third eye.
Some fans claim that “I love you 3000” is an indirect reference to all the movies under the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
If you add up the cumulative running time of every film in the MCU (22 to date, 1 more to come), the total length would be 3,000 minutes!
Total runtime of all the Marvel films in the MCU so far released from Iron Man to #Endgame is 48 hours and 6 minutes = 2886 minutes. If Spiderman Far From Home is 114 minutes long, it need 3000 minutes to complete MCU from Phase 1 to 3.

Wait? 3000? 🤔
I love you 3000. 😭 pic.twitter.com/mkiZLeZ6RY
If far from home run time is as expected then total run time of entire MCU will be 3000;#iloveyou3000

Intended or coincidence??? pic.twitter.com/T3PcloWOt2
While we first went all “awww” over the theory, we actually did the math as well but we’re not getting the same answer!
Our total came up to only 2,909 minutes! Did we miss something?
None of the filmmakers however have commented on whether or not the dialogue was meant to make a reference to the total runtime of the movies, but nothing is stopping fans and meme creators from coming up with their own theories, after following the MCU’s 11-year journey.

When you realize that the total runtime of every MCU movie combined is 2,867 minutes and will eventually be 3,000 minutes on the dot after the release of Spider-Man: Far From Home, most likely Tony Stark’s last appearance in Marvel #AvengersEndgame #ILoveYou3000 pic.twitter.com/trd6fAnJlq

If Spider-Man Far From Home is at least 1hr & 49Min Long, total run time of Entire MCU adds up to 3000 minutes of runtime. Maybe that’s why...... pic.twitter.com/VfTWA7XQqT

So the total run time of all MCU movies is 3,000 that’s why
