Instagram just added a voice message function in direct message! Now you can send voice notes up to a minute long to your friends and followers.

Much like Whatsapp’s voice note function, you can record a message by holding the microphone button and send it upon releasing it.

You can also slide your finger to cancel your voice note if you happen to say something you don’t mean and decide to not send it.
