It must have been a really difficult decision for him to make, as he hasn’t been seen beardeless since 2012 (according to the actor) but he did it anyway, and even better, it was done for a good cause.

He wants to raise awareness of the destructive impact of plastics on the environment. Also, it was done to in an attempt to draw attention to aluminum recycling.

Whatever it is, fans still love Aquaman, with or without his beard…
