The feline most known for her permanent scowl that became a mood for almost everyone, has passed away at the age of seven.
Her owners reported that their iconic pet had passed on on Tuesday after suffering complications from a recent urinary tract infection.

Grumpy Cat, whose real name was Tardar Sauce, blew up the internet in 2012 when pictures of her permanent scowl emerged and memes started popping up everywhere.
Owner, Tabatha Bundesen, explained that Grumpy’s scowl was actually caused by feline dwarfism.

Upon her passing, Grumpy’s family released a statement that read:
“Besides being our baby and a cherished member of the family, Grumpy Cat helped millions of people smile all around the world – even when times were tough. Her spirit will continue to live on through her fans everywhere.”
