Weddings are one of the biggest days in our lives that we’d want to cherish forever. It doesn’t only take a village to raise a child, it also takes a village (and everyone on your guest list) to make the day memorable, just like you planned in your head.

This bride totally didn’t see the disaster coming when she and her husband agreed with her mother-in-law’s request to make an unexpected announcement at their wedding. The 24-year-old shared how they’d planned a small wedding amid the pandemic and had the traditional speeches lined up. She added that a day before the wedding, her mother-in-law asked if she could say a few words. Innocently thinking that’d be great, she agreed.
While she was expecting her new mom-in-law to talk about their intimate wedding, she was shocked to hear her announcing her pregnancy, which was a shock that took over all night!
What’s worse? The bride is also pregnant and the couple had planned to break the news during their speech but well, it was too late. She told her husband to leave it out of his speech. The new bride admitted that she didn’t speak to her mother-in-law for a few days and only explained after her sister (a guest) called to ask what’s wrong. We don’t know who to side.

*On a side note (if you’ve been wondering), the MIL is 42-years-old and the bride didn’t appreciate people shaming her about being pregnant at her age.
