We’re glad that the coronavirus cases in Malaysia are reducing day by day, but sadly, that’s not the case in some parts of the world.

Taking into considerations the rise of COVID-19 cases in California, Disney announced that it will delay the opening of Disneyland California, which was originally planned to resume operations on July 17.
It said that the decision was made over the concern of its employees. Given the time required for them to bring thousands of cast members back to work, they’ve got no other choice.
Netizens have been responding rather positively towards the announcement, and we’re glad that everyone’s putting safety above everything else!

Going to Disneyland is a luxury and not a necessity. I’m sure you all will live if we miss out on going to Disneyland for another month. That state government isn’t impeding on your rights so just chill.

I didn't realize protecting people's health made one not cool, thanks for helping me understand.

You should feel very good about your contribution to the narrative.
It still is pretty cool, though.
GOOD! Its for the safety

I'm willing to wait as long as necessary to ensure safety for everyone.

Just... please update the expiration dates for AP holders accordingly.
Thank god! I want the parks open when it’s completely safe and when we can have fun freely. I felt so bad at the thought of cast members that work there having to worry about possibly getting covid. I love Disneyland but I’ll wait!

This is for the best for both castmembers & guests until the current situation is more under control.

Excellent news. The risk posed to cast members is to high right now. Folk can wait longer for the pixie dust.

Thank you California for paying attention to the needs of the people when making your decisions.

Let’s hope things get back to how it used to be, soon enough. Until then, please stay safe.
