So this is the story of this 7-year-old girl whose initial target was to raise $200 for a Chicago-based children’s hospital.

By selling the bracelets she made out of rubber bands, she surpassed her target by 100 times after selling 8,000 bracelets!

Hayley soon got the help of her friends from summer camp, which only made her sell more of her bracelets for the fundraising.

Hayley has decided to donate all of the money from the sales to the hospital as she spent time in its intensive care unit shortly after she was born. The fund will be used to buy personal protective equipment and for research efforts.

Her mother, Lori said that she’s grateful to everyone who helped and it’s proof that people are willing to help in really trying times.

Faith in humanity restored. Keep spreading kindness, Hayley!
