The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Shazam 2 is officially in the works and yes, we are just excited as you are!
The same person who wrote the original screenplay, Henry Gayden, will also be writing the sequel as well. Director David F. Sandberg and producer Peter Safran are expected to return for the next project and we’re hoping it would be soon because fans on Twitter are waiting on it as well!
