A lorry driver is currently being kept in custody for slapping a doctor because the doctor refused to give his wife a medical certificate (MC)!

The 29-year-old doctor at the Emergency Unit of the Penang Hospital, did not see the need to issue an MC to his wife, said the Timur Laut District Police Chief ACP Che Zaimani Che Awang.
The enraged husband then slapped the doctor on the left cheek and left the spot, he added.
A police report was made by the doctor an hour after the incident took place, at roughly 2.20 a.m. in Datuk Keramat.
The 38-year-old husband, who was also tested positive for drugs and who had a past criminal record, has been arrested for further investigation.
