Have you ever felt like games these days aren’t realistic enough? Neither have we. Yet, now there’s a game that wants to take itself out of the computer/tv screen and into your body instead!

The Guts Game is the first ever game that requires the player to swallow a sensor. Yep, that’s right. You eat it. And the game ends when you…ehem..eliminate the sensor.
To clarify, the two-player mobile game requires players to each swallow a pill-shaped temperature sensor. Participates gain points by changing their body’s core temperature. They can do this by taking hot or cold showers, eating spicy food, drinking iced water, exercising, sitting in a sauna and any other activity they can think of.
Every ten seconds, the sensor transmits information on the player’s body temperature, as it travels through the player’s digestive system, to an app on your phone.
The game ends when the sensor is excreted, about 24 to 36 hours after the game starts (Ideally. Unless, of course, you are one of those people who don’t go to the bathroom every day..). Players tally the points they earned while the sensor was inside them, player with the highest points, wins the game.
Your body is the controller in this game.

At the moment, the game isn’t for sale yet. And there has been no indication if new sensors need to be used for the next round. Though, we certainly hope so!
