We know that everyone is excited to ‘balik kampung’ for Raya, but this mother took it to a whole new level!

She panicked when she suddenly realized that she had accidentally left her pre-teen daughter behind as her family were on their journey along the East Coast Expressway!
The mother, who is thankfully tech-savvy, immediately tweeted about it, asking netizens for help almost an hour after she realized what had happened.
Sesiapa berdekatan temerloh mohon bantu Che Jah..

She also clarified that her daughter was left behind after performing prayers and they left without doing a headcount. Oops!
A kind-hearted staff at a nearby gas station then helped the daughter, who didn’t even have a phone. The girl was reunited with her family at an R&R where the family was waiting at.
The tweet went viral (we’re not surprised) and as many out there showed their support, several users also decided to give some ‘fun’ advice.
Setiap kali kereta nk gerak ayah saya mesti panggil nama setiap anak2 dia. Maybe akak boleh praktikkan bende tu 😂

Anyway, we’re happy that they’ve been reunited safely, and we just want to say that if you’re on a roadtrip this Raya: make sure you do a headcount!
Selamat Hari Raya! Enjoy your holidays!
