The government should be able to maintain subsidized RON95 prices for up to two months amid the ongoing conflict in the middle east.
The Prime Minister says they can afford to keep prices at 1.99 per liter for the short term but admits that signs are not good about keeping fuel at that level for the long-term, especially if there is continued disruption to oil shipping routes:

The pickup truck driver, who rammed into a motorcycle carrying two alleged gunman following a shooting in Klang yesterday, has been remanded for five days.
The incident left the suspected gunmen dead, while his accomplice was injured.
