Europa League may not save Sarri
May 16, 2019
Sorry not Sarri...
Reports in Italy claim that Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri could get the sack, even if they go on and win the Europa League final.
Its believed that The Blues' owner still feels that the players and fans are not convinced by the manager's style of play.
If Sarri gets the boot, sources say he could return to Italy...with Roma, AC Milan and Juventus all keeping an eye on developments.
Gunning for cash
Arsenal could be left with just 40 million pounds for new signings if they fail to qualify for the Champions League next season.
The Gunners have already been linked with the likes of Marcos Llorente, Eric Bailly and Nicolas Pepe...but they won't be able to bring in new players, unless they get the massive cash payout that comes with Champions League qualification.
Arsenal can still make it into the showpiece competition, if they beat Chelsea in the Europa League final later this month.
England to take a chance on Kane
Harry Kane will be named in England's squad for the Nations League semfinal against the Netherlands, even though the Tottenham striker is still nursing an injury.
He's has not played since picking up the ankle problem in early April, but Three Lions coach Gareth Southgate is hopeful the forward can recover before the match on June 7th.
Maria to miss Roland-Garros
Maria Sharapova has pulled out of this month's French Open.
The two-time champion and former world number one says she's yet to fully recover from a shoulder injury - which has kept her out of action since the end of January.
