Man City stars in line for Champions League return

Oct 22, 2019

Man City are set to welcome back Kyle Walker, Nicolas Otamendi and John Stones for their Champions League visit of Atalanta tomorrow morning.

The three defenders had missed earlier games because of injury or illness.

Their return will come as a boost for City boss Pep Guardiola, who's said that a strong defensive display could be key to their European success this season.

They are currently at the top of Group C, and have yet to concede a goal in the competition.

Cristiano Ronaldo has reassured football fans that he's not ready for retirement yet.

In a recent interview, the 34-year-old sparked concern when he said he's starting to enjoy seeing himself outside of football, and that anything can happen in the next couple of years.

However, Ronaldo insists age is just a number, and feels that his maturity makes him think sharp when playing the game.

Robert Kubica says he's not sure what he'll be doing next year.

The 35-year-old has struggled on his highly-anticipated return to Formula 1 this year, and will leave the crisis-struck Williams team at the end of the season.

Kubica has been tipped to switch to Haas in a reserve role, while he's also being linked with the German touring car series DTM.
