EC Satisfied With The Running Of Johor State Polls

The Election Commission is satisfied with the running of yesterday’s Johor state election.

It says there were no untoward incidents that affected the casting of ballots.

The Commission is, however, looking into claims that some voters had uploaded photos of marked ballot papers on social media.

Meanwhile, the EC confirmed that the turnout for yesterday’s election stood at 68.73 percent.

This, after BN swept to a landslide win, taking 48 of the 56 seats on offer.

The remaining eight seats went to Pakatan Harapan.

This also means that Perikatan Nasional, BERSAMA, PSM, MUDA, ASLI and six independents all failed to win any seats.
