Gunman Targets Trump Dinner

US President Donald Trump has been evacuated from the White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington DC after gunshots were fired at the venue.

Trump, the First Lady, and members of his Cabinet are safe.

However, one Secret Service agent was reportedly injured.

Trump later revealed that the suspected gunman is in custody and will be charged soon.

Authorities have since identified the suspect as a 31-year-old man from California who is believed to be a guest at the hotel where the incident happened.

They believe he acted alone and do not believe that anyone else was involved.

Authorities have yet to determine a motive for the incident, and refused say if he had Trump specifically.

The incident has drawn condemnation from the leaders of Mexico and Venezuela, who said that violence is never the answer.

The suspect was arrested earlier this month after the child was rushed to hospital, where she tested positive for THC, the active ingredient in cannabis.

Earlier reports said the suspect bought the candy overseas and kept them in a refrigerator at the babysitter’s house.
