Charismatic Khairy Scores Again!

Mar 18, 2021

charismatic khairy scores again!

Some people remain popular no matter what happens.

One man who always enjoys such attention is none other than our very own “Tall, Dark, and Handsome” minister Khairy Jamaluddin.

Ever since his return to cabinet in March last year, Khairy has been slowly but steadily rising under the spotlight.

Initially, even some within his circle were ‘disappointed’ with the less popular Science, Technology and Innovation Minister post offered to him.

But knowing Khairy and his charisma, one would not dare doubt his capabilities to deliver.

One year has passed; see where he is now!

KJ is the talk of the town yet again, especially ever since he took challenge of helping the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (NIP) in his stride.

“Have some faith in science and get vaccinated against the coronavirus.”

His coolness under pressure and the decisiveness of his response to the vaccination programme has led many to praise Khairy for his work.

Khairy is also well known for his outspoken social media presence – one of a few leaders who are active on Instagram and Twitter.

Walking the talk is another quality this 45-year-old possesses.

Khairy became the first person in the country to take China’s Sinovac vaccine today.

He said earlier that he would be taking whichever Covid-19 vaccine is approved next by the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) to prove that it is safe.

Khairy had opted out from taking the more popular Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine to set a positive example and encourage people to accept whatever vaccine is on offer.

This is also to rubbish allegations that politicians and leaders will only take the Pfizer jab.

Kudos, Khairy!
