A COVID-19 vaccination drive kicked-off today, to immunize those in the transport industry.

Transport Ministry Datuk Seri Wee Ka Siong says for now, the plan focuses on workers in the maritime sector, including sailors and port staff.

He says it's currently working on strategies to vaccinate those in other sectors, such as taxi, bus, and e-hailing drivers.

The program aims to immunize 50,000 workers in stages.
