PM Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob's new Cabinet line-up has been unveiled!

He assures that his Cabinet emphasizes a high-performance work culture, with each ministry tasked to determine their short- and long-term goals.

Datuk Seri Ismail says each ministry must reach their initial targets in the first 100 days.

He adds that he will not have a Deputy, as his administration will continue to have four Senior Ministers.

This includes Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein as Defence Minister, and Datuk Seri Mohd Azmin Ali, who remains as International Trade and Industry Minister.

Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin is retained as Education Minister, while Datuk Seri Haji Fadillah Yusof is appointed Works Minister.

Meanwhile, Khairy Jamaluddin is now Health Minister, while his former post as the Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation goes to Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba.

The swearing in-ceremony is scheduled to take place on Monday from 2.30 in the afternoon.

New COVID-19 cases cross 20k mark for fourth day in a row

Daily COVID-19 cases in Malaysia have crossed the 20,000 mark for a fourth consecutive day.

22,070 infections were detected today, with the bulk of the total found in Selangor.

Meanwhile, Sabah had the second most infections, ahead of Sarawak, and Kedah.

60% of adult population already complete both COVID-19 vaccine doses

Around 60% of the adult population has now been given both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

This means over 14 million people have already completed their vaccinations.

Overall, more than 33 million doses have been administered nationwide.
