Road users can now wait until the end of the year to renew their driver's license and road tax.

This, after the Transport Ministry extended its moratorium on such renewals.

However, it says that motorists with expired road tax must still ensure their vehicle's insurance is still valid.

Their insurance e-cover note must be put on display for authorities to check.

Fully vaxxed people allowed to walk-in for JPJ transactions from Monday

Starting Monday, JPJ service counters will be allowed to operate at full capacity, subject to COVID-19 SOPs.

Those who are fully vaccinated will no longer need an appointment, as they will be allowed to walk in to perform counter transactions.

Meanwhile, the public is encouraged to continue using JPJ's existing services online, to prevent crowds at branches.

New COVID-19 cases drop below 20k mark

Daily COVID-19 cases in Malaysia dropped slightly to 19,378 today, with the bulk of the total found in Selangor.

The Health Ministry says Sarawak had the second most cases, ahead of Sabah, and Johor.

Labuan was the only area with single digit infections.
