The reopening of schools next month shows that Malaysia is now heading towards the COVID-19 endemic phase.

Education Minister Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin also reckons that the move indicates that the country is returning to normal.

On another note, Dr Radzi says authorities are still in talks on what to do with the teachers who rejected the COVID vaccine.

He previously said that such educators will be banned from conducting physical lessons.

He now says that they will be kept separate from other teachers when in school...

It's reported that some 2,500 teachers refused the injection.
