PTPTN: No Supporting Docs Needed For Flood Deferrals. 

ptptn: no supporting docs needed for flood deferrals.

PTPTN borrowers who were affected by the floods don't have to provide any supporting documents to apply for the 3-month deferment. 
The fund says they'll only need to file their applications within the given timeframe
It can be done via the PTPTN website or any of its branches.
Applications can be made from tomorrow until March 31st.

Govt Starts Paying Out Cash Aid For Flood Victims

The government has started paying out the cash assistance promised to flood victims. 
Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali says recipeints will be distributed via three channels.. 
Namely, at at designated disaster operations control centres, door-to-door cash handouts, or via electronic fund transfer.
The government earlier said that 1,000 ringgit will be given to affected households
The next of kin of those who died due to the floods will receive 10 thousand ringgit.

Another drop in COVID Cases

Health Ministry logged 2,757 new infections nationwide today.
It's down by 21 cases compared to yesterday's figure. 
It's also the 2nd consecutive day that daily infections was at below 3 thousand. 
Meanwhile, 7 state assemblymen were absent from today's session at the Melaka State Assembly, due to COVID-19. 
 Its chief minister says 4 of them tested positive for the coronavirus, while another 3 were close contacts of positive cases.
