rm1k subsidy to repair flood-damaged private vehicles

Flood victims whose private vehicles were damaged due to the floods can redeem a discount voucher worth up to RM1,000 for repairs.

The Finance Ministry says vehicle owners are not required to make an application and may redeem the voucher at service centers of 19 participating companies.

It adds that the voucher is valid until the end of March.

Authorities say no visitors are allowed due to current COVID SOPs.

Over 59 million COVID-19 vaccine doses have now been given out under the National Immunisation Program.

More than 210,000 booster shots were administered yesterday.

This means some 20% of the country’s entire population has now received their booster dose.
