The public has been urged to refrain from posting social media comments regarding the Pardons Board’s decision to reduce Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s sentence.

The Communications Minister says everyone needs to respect and accept the decision.

Fahmi Fadzil reminded social media users particularly to avoid touching on 3R issues …warning that the authorities will step in if any of the comments go overboard.

Met Malaysia has issued a hot weather alert for Kedah…with Pokok Sena, Pendang and Baling expected to see temperatures of between 35 and 37 degrees Celsius for at least three consecutive days.

Meanwhile, the weather agency has also warned of continuous rain for parts of Sarawak until tomorrow.

The festive season price control scheme for Chinese New Year will be implemented nationwide from the 6th to the 14th.
