Dec 01, 2019

Heavy rain has been forecast for several areas in peninsular Malaysia until tomorrow.

The Met Dept says the warning affects several districts in Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang and Johor.

Meanwhile, some 1,800 people are currently housed at flood relief centres in Terengganu and Kelantan.

Health insurance policyholders who've been charged higher rates by private clinics should lodge complaints with the Health Ministry, or Fomca.

The Health Minister says this will allow authorities to investigate the matter.

Earlier reports said that some private clinics have imposed additional charges of up to 10 percent on health insurance policyholders, while medication prices nearly double compared to those without insurance.

British PM Boris Johnson says people convicted of terrorism offenses should not be given an automatic early release from prison.

This is after reports said that the suspect in the recent attack in London was released from jail last year, before his sentence was complete.

The suspect went on a rampage at London Bridge,  killing two people before he was shot dead by police.
