Everything is ready, ahead of the start of the first phase of the National COVID-19 Vaccination Program tomorrow.

The Health Ministry says it is prepared to roll out the vaccines, after it successfully conducted a simulation today.

Meanwhile, its Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba has advised pregnant women to hold off from getting the vaccine, as they are still waiting for more data from Pfizer...

Datuk Seri Adham adds that over 570,000 frontliners will be immunized during the program's first phase starting tomorrow.

Several states nationwide are set to receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, as the nation prepares to roll out the National Vaccination Program tomorrow.

The Science, Technology, and Innovation Ministry says tomorrow, the vaccine will be distributed to Kedah, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, and Perak.

While Pahang, Terengganu, Kelantan, Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan, will receive their doses the following day.

More recovered COVID-19 patients than new infections today

The number of recovered COVID-19 patients today is almost double the number of new infections.

The Health Ministry says there were 4,055 recoveries, compared to 2,468 new cases.

Selangor had the highest number of new infections, followed by Johor and Perak.

Also, 14 patients have died due to the virus, raising the death toll to 1,076.
