Now Available: 10-Year Passports (& Increased Fines)

There are new regulations for Malaysian passports.  

Under the new government order - which came into effect yesterday – you can now get a passport with a 10-year validity period!

Under the new system, Malaysians aged 18 to 59 can obtain the passport for RM350.

Senior citizens, meanwhile, will pay RM175...while OKU card holders will not have to pay at all.

The new regulations also outlined higher penalties to replace lost or damaged passports.

Malaysians aged 18 to 59 will have to pay RM550 to replace their passports after losing them the first time.

In fact...the price shoots up to RM1,350 for the third or subsequent times it's lost.

The Foreign Ministry has confirmed that all Malaysians registered in Kuwait are safe after drone and missile attacks targeted the country's international airport.

It assured that it's closely monitoring the situation following the attacks.

And the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry says nearly nine thousand vehicles have been registered under the expanded fuel subsidy scheme as of yesterday.
