Perkeso's Lindung 24 Is Now Optional

PERKESO’s Non-Employment Injury Scheme or Lindung 24 Jam will no longer be mandatory for local workers.

The HR Ministry says contributions will now be voluntary, with immediate effect.

However, the scheme will remain mandatory for foreign workers.

The Ministry says the decision was made after taking into account public feedback on the implementation of the scheme, which offers protection for workers who are involved in accidents outside working hours, and away from the workplace.
