Tournament favourite Kento Momota has pulled out of the ongoing BWF World Tour Finals due to injury.

It leaves Viktor Axelsen as the only other big name in Group A of the men’s singles competition.

This will be good news for Lee Zii Jia, if the Malaysian makes it out of Group B into the knockout rounds.
