FAM has set up an independent body to investigate Harimau Malaya’s disappointing performance in the recent AFF Cup.

The national team failed to advance to the semi-finals of the tournament last month, with head coach Tan Cheng Hoe resigning shortly after.

The investigation team is led by former national footballer and KL police chief Datuk Dell Akhbar Khan.

Manchester City assistant coach Rodolfo Borrell says his side are mentally ready for their FA Cup Match against Swindon tomorrow, despite their Covid-19 problems.

With seven players out infected, Borrell joked that team selection will now be easier.

Borrell is in charge for the match as manager Pep Guardiola is also out with Covid.

Djokovic can leave Australia at any time

Australian officials have hit back at claims that tennis star Novak Djokovic is being held captive, saying he is free to leave the country at any time.

Djokovic is spending a second day in quarantine in Melbourne as his lawyers fight his deportation order.

The multiple Grand Slam title holder was denied entry into Australia for failing to prove his medical exemption against Covid-19 vaccination.
