The Netherlands have opened their Euro 2020 campaign with a dramatic 3-2 win over Ukraine in Group C.

The match was headed for a draw, before Denzel Dumfries headed in the winner five minutes from time.

The other Group C tie saw Austria defeat North Macedonia 3-1…for their first ever victory at the European Championship.

Meanwhile, over in Group D, England got off to a winning start, after edging past Croatia 1-nil.

Raheem Sterling netted the only goal of the game in the 57th minute.

In Copa America action this morning…hosts Brazil opened their campaign with a 3-0 win over Venezuela.

Neymar scored one goal and set up another for the defending champions.

Meanwhile, Colombia are off to a winning start, after beating Ecuador 1-0.

Novak Djokovic has won the French tennis Open, fighting back from two sets down to defeat Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final.

This is the world number one’s 19th Grand Slam crown…just one title behind the record jointly held by Rafa Nadal and Roger Federer.

Djokovic is also the first man in the professional era to win all four Grand Slams twice.
