Another Liverpool Injury Scare

Jan 19, 2024

another liverpool injury scare

Mo Salah could be forced to quit the Africa Cup of Nations due to injury!

This is after he suffered a suspected hamstring problem, that forced him out of Egypt's match against Ghana, which ended in a 2-2 draw.

However, the extent of the injury has yet to be confirmed.

Any extended injury absence will also be bad news for Liverpool, amid their Premier League title ambitions.

--

Harimau Malaya attacker Darren Lok says he's determined to score in their Asian Cup match against Bahrain tomorrow to make amends for their 4-0 thrashing by Jordan.

Meanwhile, he refused to comment on rumours that he will start alongside Faisal Halim and Arif Aiman for the clash..

--

England midfielder Jordan Henderson has signed a 2-and-a-half year deal with Dutch club Ajax.

This is after he terminated his contract with Saudi side al-Ettifaq after just six months.

--

And Lee Zii Jia has booked his spot in the quarter finals of the Indian badminton Open, after beating Indonesia's Jonatan Christie in straight sets last night.

Doubles players Goh Soon Huat/Shevon Lai, and Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik also advanced.
