UCL: Inter v Atletico Preview

Feb 20, 2024

ucl: inter v atletico preview

Last year's runners-up Inter Milan will continue their Champions League campaign tomorrow morning, when they host Atletico Madrid in the last-16 first leg.

Inter are currently flying high, as they are 9 points clear of Juventus at the top of the Serie A table.

Meanwhile, in the Champions League, Inter were unbeaten in their group, and overall, they've only lost one match in their last 13 games in the competition.

--

Man City will try to narrow the gap with Premier League leaders Liverpool, when they host Brentford at the Etihad stadium tomorrow morning.

A win will reduce City's gap with the Reds to just one point.

City will be going up against a Brentford side that have lost three of their last 5 matches and are currently 5 points above the relegation zone.

--

Reports say Bayern Munich could appoint former Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as interim manager, if they decide to sack the under-fire Thomas Tuchel.

Bayern are said to be considering their options, after they suffered 3 straight defeats, to lie 8 points behind Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen.

--

And Alpine's Pierre Gasly is the latest F1 driver tipped to replace Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes next year.

Gasly will be available at the end of the season, when his Alpine contract expires.
