8,000 fans could attend next month's EFL Cup final between Man City and Tottenham.

According to reports, organisers are hoping to use the event at Wembley as a pilot test event, to allow spectators to return to sporting events in the UK amid the coronavirus pandemic.

If it's approved, a portion of the tickets could be given to front-line healthcare workers.

The final was delayed from its original date in February, in the hope that fans would be able attend.

Another report says that the English Premier League will NOT be involved in next month's test events, for the return of large crowds at stadiums.

Several EPL teams had offered to become test venues, but the govt felt that this would give them an unfair advantage, heading into the closing stages of the season.

Juventus are reportedly eying a move for Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane!

This, amid doubts about the future of current Juve boss Andrea Pirlo, despite Juve's public statements of support for the Italian.

Juve recently crashed out of the Champions League, while they currently lie 10 points off Serie A leaders Inter Milan.

Meanwhile Zidane, a former Juve player, is contracted at Madrid until the end of next season.
