Pearly Responds To Possible Uber Cup Snub

Mar 29, 2024

pearly responds to possible uber cup snub

(No Uber Cup? Grab got ah?)

Pearly Tan will have no complaints, IF she and women's doubles partner M. Thinaah are dropped from Malaysia's upcoming Uber Cup badminton squad.

Pearly says if they are not selected, they can use that time to train and prepare for the Olympics.

Recently, Malaysian Badminton Academy coaching chief Rexy Mainaky said a decision will soon be made on the duo's Uber Cup place.

The Thomas and Uber Cups will take place in Chengdu, China from late April to early May.

Liverpool are looking at new manager options, after supposedly giving up on trying to sign Bayer Leverkusen's Xabi Alonso.

According to latest reports, Sporting Lisbon's Ruben Amorim and Brighton's Roberto de Zerbi are now the top two favourites to take charge once Jurgen Klopp leaves this summer.

This, after Liverpool apparently conceded that Alonso will remain loyal to Leverkusen, where he is contracted until 2026.

Man United's Mason Greenwood could be offered to Juventus, as part of a player-plus-cash deal for Brazilian defender Gleison Bremer.

This, as Juve have demanded at least 60 million euros for the centre-back.

Greenwood is currently on loan at Spanish side Getafe and his long-term future at Old Trafford is in doubt.

And former Man United captain Roy Keane is reportedly in advanced talks to become the next Ireland manager.

Ireland have yet to appoint a permanent manager, after Stephen Kenny stepped down following their failure to qualify for Euro 2024.

Keane's former United teammate John O’Shea is their interim boss.
