Man United’s EPL match against Liverpool at Old Trafford has been postponed to a later date, after hundreds of United supporters broke into the stadium to protest against the club’s owners.
It is the first time a Premier League game has been postponed due to fan protests.
The match could have decided the Premiership title…where a Liverpool win would have ensured that leaders Man City were crowned league champions.
In other EPL results…Tottenham moved to within five points of the top-four with a 4-0 win over Sheffield United.
Gareth Bale netted a hattrick before Son Heung Min secured the victory for Spurs.
Elsewhere, Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang marked his return from illness with a goal as the Gunners defeated Newcastle 2-0.
Inter Milan have been crowned Serie A champions for the first time in 11 years.
This, after second-placed Atalanta failed to win their match against Sassuolo…giving Inter a 13-point advantage with four games to go.
It also means that Antonio Conte’s side have ended Juventus’ run of nine straight league titles.
Lewis Hamilton has won the Portuguese F1 GP ahead of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas.
The win gives Hamilton an eight-point lead over Verstappen in the driver’s standings.
